Mableton Student Ministries
At Mableton Student Ministries (MSM) we strive to live lives that are gospel centered, and kingdom focused. We believe we do this in three ways. Engaging culture (1 Cor 9:22), embracing community (James 1:27), and equipping disciples (Matthew 28:18-20). We believe that these tasks are accomplished inside (within the student group and church community as a whole), and outside (in the homes, schools, and community) of the church. We commit to biblical teaching, intentional discipleship, and a reckless love for Jesus. We would love to have you join with us, as we follow Christ!
Students are encouraged to arrive early (8:45 am) and eat a free breakfast in the church cafe (donations are appreciated!). Then, beginning at 9:15 am, we have small groups for our middle and high school students (the groups are split up by gender and grade). Together we study The Gospel Project - a wide-ranging study that tackles the entire Bible through a Christ-centered perspective. We strive to teach in a way that allows the students to take theological truths and apply them to their lives. We not only want our students to make Godly decisions, but we want them to know why! Following small groups, the whole Church gathers for worship and teaching in the sanctuary at 10:30am during Celebration Worship!
Every Wednesday we go LIVE in the student center from 5:55pm until 7:30 pm. Typically students arrive around 5 PM to hang out and eat at our Family Dinner. At 5:55 pm we open the doors and go live with games, worship, teaching, prayer and small groups. All of our students from 6th to 12th grade are gathered together for games, worship and large group teaching, but our small groups are divided by gender and grade. The focus at MSM is to address issues that our students are going through with regards to their grade and life experience from a Gospel-centered perspective.
We believe our MSM events are second to none and provide a unique opportunity to show students the "life to the full" Jesus talked about in John 10:10. Some of our special events during the year include our annual trip to Summer Camp, DNOW, Middle School Mania, lock-ins and many more trips, hang-outs and get-togethers.
